Turn a call transcript into a proposal
InkDraft imports a call transcript, extracts the commercial terms that were agreed, and generates a proposal where every line traces back to the conversation. The same terms flow into the contract, through client review and electronic signature, and set the payment milestone. No re-entry at any step.
From call to proposal in one step
[14:32] "...so the project would be 40 hours at 150 per hour, spread across the two phases we discussed, discovery first, then the implementation..."
rate: CHF 150/h · hours: 40 · phases: 2 (discovery, implementation) · split: 20h each
Phase 1: Discovery & Strategy · 20h × CHF 150 = CHF 3,000
The same terms flow into the contract clause, appear on the client review page, carry through e-signature, and set the payment milestone.
How does it work?
- Import the call transcript. Connect Fathom, Zoom, or Fireflies, or paste a transcript directly. The recording becomes the source of truth for everything that follows.
- Review extracted terms. The AI extracts scope, rates, deliverables, and timeline. Every term links back to the call segment where it was agreed. All totals are calculated in code, not by the model.
- Send the proposal with signature and payment. Your client receives one link to review the proposal, request changes, sign electronically, and pay the first milestone.
What makes the pricing deterministic?
The language model extracts the terms. It does not calculate the totals. Every rate, quantity, and discount from the call passes into TypeScript arithmetic that runs with integer precision, and the result is checked against the source before you see it. If the model misreads a number, the traceability link makes it visible in review. If the arithmetic were done inside the model, a wrong total would look the same as a right one.
What sources can InkDraft import?
- Fathom · OAuth integration, imports transcripts directly
- Zoom · OAuth integration for own-account recordings
- Fireflies · API key integration for transcripts
- Pasted transcript · any text transcript pasted into the editor
- Meeting notes · typed summaries or engagement briefs
What happens after the proposal?
The client receives a link to a review page where they can see the full proposal, request changes inline, and approve. Approval moves the deal to electronic signature. After signing, the contract sets the payment milestone from the same commercial terms. The entire flow, from the call through to the first payment, uses one set of numbers entered once.
FAQ
How do I turn a call transcript into a proposal?
Import the transcript from Fathom, Zoom, Fireflies, or paste it directly. InkDraft extracts the commercial terms, generates a proposal where every term traces back to the call, and lets your client review, sign, and pay from one link.
Can I create a proposal from meeting notes?
Yes. Any structured text that describes what was agreed works as an input. Typed meeting notes, engagement briefs, and email summaries are all valid sources alongside recorded call transcripts.
How does InkDraft extract pricing from a sales call?
The AI reads the transcript and identifies scope, rates, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms. It returns each term with a reference to the segment of the call where it was discussed. All monetary calculations run in TypeScript with integer arithmetic, not in the language model.
Can my client sign and pay from the proposal?
Yes. The proposal carries through to a client review page where your client can request changes, then sign electronically and pay. The payment milestone is set from the same terms the proposal was built on.
What is the difference between a proposal and a contract?
A proposal presents what you will do and what it costs. A contract adds the legal terms that govern the engagement. InkDraft generates both from the same extracted terms, so nothing is re-entered between the two.
